Kathy Cooley is a registered dietitian with a passionate interest in growing, cooking and eating wholesome, simple foods. She works part time at the Hansen Center – a cancer treatment center in Batesville and part time at her u-pick naturally raised blueberry farm near Batesville. She is the president of the Food Growers Association of Laughery Valley and Environs. She has spent most of her dietetics career being a catalyst to help individuals and families adopt healthier lifestyles. Kathy is a popular speaker in the area and can work well with people at all different stages of eating! A visit with Kathy will be fun, educational and motivational and will be customized just for you at your level.

For this session you will fill out a food frequency form for you and each member of your family who would like to change eating habits prior to your visit. You will sit down with Kathy and she will discuss your current habits, offer suggestions for improving and help set mutually agreed upon goals! This session will also include tips on how to make change happen!

Are you confused by all of the choices at the supermarket? Kathy will walk through our local grocery store with you and answer all your questions. She will inspire you to look at food differently than you ever have before.

After completion of assessment and goal setting session, you will work with Kathy to design 2 weeks of seasonal menus filled with the most wonderful, wholesome, and simple to prepare meals that your whole family will enjoy. You will also receive a cookbook to meet your tastes and cooking interests.
